The Customer: The Water Gardener Magazine aims to be a one-stop index and guide to water gardening for the beginner and enthusiast, as well as a shop window for the water garden trade and retailer. It is the brainchild of Peter May, author of 6 books on water gardening, and one of the most prolific writers for water garden magazines, with over 22 years associated with the water garden and landscaping industry.
The Website: WaterGardenerMagazine.com is probably our biggest website. It is based on an open-source content management system, which allows Peter to edit it himself once the initial setup has been done. It currently contains over 60 articles, around 100 news stories, directories of retailers and plants, a gallery of over 100 photographs and sketches, a forum where users can discuss their water garden problems and ideas and get advice, and an online shop. It also serves adverts which bring in revenue for the owner.
